The Douglas experience of a mineral sands mine

14 kilometres of once productive farmland – that’s the distance from Lindenow to Glenaladale. It’s four years since mining ceased. It seems very unlikely that this land will be able to be used again for farming in our lifetime.

The letter below clearly identifies some of the reasons why the Glenaladale has very real reasons for not wanting a mineral sands mine in the area.
